These earrings are my way of repurposing in a corner of the world that does not currently support a sustainable recycling system. Cans are consumed, cut, and crafted into jewelry in Northwest Montana. Most of the contents of these cans were enjoyed while something epic was occurring- cheering on ultramarathoners up the North Fork, cracking open a summit bevvy, or waiting for the final finishers of a ski race to cross the finish line. They have since been rinsed, cleaned, and are ready for your ears.
Each earring is:
Double sided with complementary colors on the back, in case the earring flips during wear.
Not sharp! Any pointy corners have been rounded.
Able to have the metal hook switched- send an email with product name after your order is placed if you prefer a metal that is not pictured on product post (options: silver or gold).
Shipped in protective packaging.
This is me
Greetings! My name is Elly, or, ELK (affectionately, not derogatory). The name I chose to sell my art under is courtesy of my parents for “accidentally” naming two children with initials that spell E.L.K. This has become a trademark sign off for my sister and I, as elk#1 and elk#2. I truly enjoyed crafting each individual earring, and want to make sure it is known that they are being passed on to you with love. Wearing funky earrings is my thing, so decided to start making my own. I can’t wait to see my creations in your ears soon!
love, elk
